Avon Park Alpacas...striving for excellence

OPEN DAYS:   We are pleased to be opening our farm in May 2011 in conjunction with National Alpaca Week, and we will be open from 10am until 4pm on Sunday, 15th May, and on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May.

SHOW NEWS: We are looking forward to the rest of 2011, having finished 2010 on a good note at the Alexandra show, where Andata took out Intermediate Champion Female Suri, Bositano getting Reserve Champion Adult Male, and D'Artagnan getting a 2nd in his Senior White Male class.
We were very happy with the result for Andata who was in her first show, and whose dam Avon Park Ancora, was also a Championship winner.

Unfortunately, due to the fire at Pinjarra Alpacas on the week of the Berwick Show, our animals did not make it to the show ring, but our championship run at Red Hill continued with Avon Park Andata taking out Intermediate Champion Female Suri, with Avon Park Leila placed second to her in the class. We then followed this up with Emanuella being  awarded Adult Champion Female Suri, with the judges praising her "enormous fleece, showing excellent lustre and density"  and her fineness and independence of lock.  All these championship girls are available for sale: some already pregnant, others are being mated - see sales page for details.

We have now had D'Artagnan and Rastus certified, and they have both started working. Please contact us if you are interested in a mating with any of our stud males.
